The objective of “IMPACT” S.S.B. training is to provide clear understanding on critical aspects of Social & Emotional development and to provide an insight into Personality Assessment at S.S.B. Personality as we all know is a dynamic organised set of cognitive characters possessed by a person which uniquely influences his/her behavior in verifying situations. Accordingly Personality at S.S.B. is assessed on certain facets called Officer Like Qualities broadly classified as Planning & Organizing Ability, Social Adjustment, Social Effectiveness and Dynamism. S.S.B. selection process has two stage testing ie Screening Test and Main SSB Test. The Screening Test comprises of Intelligence Test and Picture Perception & Discussion Test. After qualifying in stage-I only then candidates are put through main SSB Test, which comprises of three main Tests called Psychology Test, Group Test and Interview. These tests are conducted by experts over a period of five days.
These S.S.B. tests are quite unique however their awareness is minimal. Therefore all S.S.B. aspirants must carryout an assessment of their Personality and learn the technique of correct Personality projection. This obviously requires a careful matured handling by experts.
